Training Facilities

Located in the Recreation Center at The Plateau Club, our fitness room provides exclusive access to free weights, a LifeFitness cable system, abdominal and weight equipment. To round out a productive workout, you can take advantage of our Precor ellipticals and treadmills, StairMaster StepMill 700PT, or even our Precor and Schwinn stationary bicycles. Two television sets, mirrors and large windows ensure you’ll have an entertaining workout in a bright, airy atmosphere. Not sure where to put your belongings? Take a locker key from our front desk to keep your valuables safe. Unable to leave your children home alone? Drop them off at our convenient Kids Klub where they will be supervised by one of our childcare workers during your workout.


 

Group Fitness


The Plateau Club offers a full selection of group fitness classes on a weekly basis, including yoga, weight training, total body conditioning, and more. Tone your body and get into shape while enjoying the company of fellow members.

Try our Above the Barre class, designed to give you a lean, dancer-like physique! By combining elements of pilates, yoga, and ballet, this workout tones and lengthens muscles, leaving you feeling confident and strong.  We are also offering new spinning classes giving you a full workout all from the back of a bike! See you in the Fitness Center!

All fitness levels are welcome to group fitness classes.
Guests are welcome, but will be charged a $15 guest fee.

Personal Training

Sue Beahm, The Plateau Club trainers, brings special skill sets to the gym. Whether your focus is on strength training, peace of mind, injury rehabilitation or toning your body for swimsuit season, our trainers have the expertise and passion to push you up to the next level, or drop you down a pant size.

Personal Trainer

Sue Beahm: Sue has been at The Plateau Club for nearly a decade and is very passionate for fitness, dance and overall well being. Sporting certifications in several different disciplines, Sue has the knowledge and experience start you on the right program for you. Sue is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Clinical Psychology. She has received certifications from The American Council of Exercise, AMFPT, Lemond Cycling, Physical Mind Institute of Pilates, Resist-A-Ball, Body Training Systems Group Power, Cross Country Theory and Design Practical Strength. With her wide range of certifications, Sue provides a diverse, challenging and exciting outlook toward personal training. She worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in California, Arizona and Oregon before joining The Plateau Club team. Sue’s education, certifications and dynamic personality make her an invaluable asset to The Plateau Club.
